That’s funny you say you’re “not 100% pleased with it” because that is exactly the same language I used just now in reply to your comment on my site (the ‘anathema’ piece). I’m definitely hard on myself, but then, only we really know where we could have done better, right? Of course the frustrating thing with scratchboard is — there’s no going back!

Thanks, Eric! That mane drove me crazy, and I’m still not 100% pleased with it – what is it about artists being their own worst critics? Hopefully, I’ll get a chance to add some colour tonight – I’m not a fan of colour, but I’m kinda looking forward to this one ’cause it’s only in certain areas.

I love it! Your attention to detail is superb. I love the eye – it really seems round and glassy. Great job doing the hair too .. I bet that took awhile
