My polar bears have gone south for a (hopefully extended) vacation in Massachussets. True North Gallery in New Hamilton, Massachussets is hosting an international exhibition, “Imagining Nanuq: An Exhibition of the Polar Bear in Art” and my two polar bears, Arctic Dreaming and Waiting for the Sea Ice, are part of the show. The exhibition opens today and runs until March 28, 2009. True North Gallery will be donating a percentage of the profits from sales of the work to the Natural Resource’s Defense Council’s Polar Bear SOS fund.
